Bihar will vote in a two-phase election on November 6 and 11, and the results for the high-stakes electoral battle will be announced on November 14. There are a total of 243 assembly constituencies in Bihar. This election is expected to be a high-stakes contest between the BJP–JD(U)-led NDA and the RJD-led Mahagathbandhan, following multiple alliance shifts by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The current term of the State Assembly is set to conclude on November 22, 2025.
