Angamaly Assembly constituency comprises the following areas of Ernakulam district in the Cochin region of Kerala: Angamaly Municipality and Ayyampuzha, Kalady, Karukutty, Malayattoor-Neeleswaram, Manjapra, Mookkannoor, Parakkadavu and Thuravoor Panchayats in Aluva Taluk.

This constituency covers an approximate area of 425 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Angamaly is: 10°13'41.2"N 76°29'56.4"E.

In the 2021 Kerala Assembly elections, Roji M John of INC won in this constituency beating Adv Jose Thettayil of JDS by a margin of 15929 votes which was 11.6% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Roji M John of INC was the winner in this seat beating Benny Moonjely of JDS by a margin of 9186 votes which was 6.75% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, Advocate Jose Thettayil of JDS won this seat defeating Advocate Johny Nelloor of KECJ by a margin of 7170 votes which was 5.78% of the total votes polled for the seat.
