Manjeri Assembly constituency comprises the following areas of Malappuram district in the Malabar region of Kerala: Manjeri Municipality and Pandikkad and Trikkalangode Panchayats in Ernad Taluk and Edappatta and Keezhattur Panchayats in Perinthalmanna Taluk.

This constituency covers an approximate area of 255 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Manjeri is: 11°06'35.6"N 76°11'59.6"E.

In the 2021 Kerala Assembly elections, Adv U A Latheef of IUML won in this constituency beating Nazar Debona of CPI by a margin of 14573 votes which was 9.35% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Adv. M Ummer of IUML was the winner in this seat beating Adv. K.Mohandas of CPI by a margin of 19616 votes which was 14.12% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, Adv.M.Ummer of MUL won this seat defeating Prof:P.Gouri of CPI by a margin of 29079 votes which was 24.95% of the total votes polled for the seat.
