Nenmara Assembly constituency comprises the following areas of Palakkad district in the Cochin region of Kerala: Elavenchery, Koduvayur, Kollengode, Muthalamada, Nelliyampathy, Nemmara, Pallassana, Ayiloor, Puthunagaram and Vadavannur Panchayat in Chittur Taluk.

This constituency covers an approximate area of 881 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Nenmara is: 10°30'36.0"N 76°42'25.6"E.

In the 2021 Kerala Assembly elections, K Babu of CPIM won in this constituency beating C N Vijayakrishnan of CMPKSC by a margin of 28704 votes which was 19.08% of the total votes cast. In 2016, K. Babu of CPIM was the winner in this seat beating A.V.Gopinathan of INC by a margin of 7408 votes which was 4.79% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, V. Chenthamarakshan of CPIM won this seat defeating M.V.Raghavan of CMPKSC by a margin of 8694 votes which was 6.48% of the total votes polled for the seat.
