Pattambi Assembly constituency comprises the following areas of Palakkad district in the Cochin region of Kerala: Koppam, Kulukkallur, Muthuthala, Ongallur, Pattambi, Thiruvegapura, Vallapuzha and Vilayur Panchayats in Ottappalam Taluk.

This constituency covers an approximate area of 180 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Pattambi is: 10°50'37.0"N 76°11'46.3"E.

In the 2021 Kerala Assembly elections, Muhammed Muhassin of CPI won in this constituency beating Riyas Mukkoli of INC by a margin of 17974 votes which was 11.86% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Muhammed Muhassin of CPI was the winner in this seat beating C P Mohammed of INC by a margin of 7404 votes which was 5.28% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, C.P.Mohammed of INC won this seat defeating K.P.Suresh Raj of CPI by a margin of 12475 votes which was 10.59% of the total votes polled for the seat.
