Thiruvalla Assembly constituency comprises the following areas of Pathanamthitta district in the Travancore region of Kerala: Thiruvalla Municipality and Kadapra, Kaviyoor, Kuttoor, Nedumpram, Niranam, Peringara, Panchayats in Thiruvalla Taluk and Anicadu, Kallooppara, Mallappally, Puramattom and Kunnamthanam Panchayats in Mallappally Taluk.

This constituency covers an approximate area of 199 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Thiruvalla is: 9°24'09.0"N 76°35'58.9"E.
