In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Kedar Chidabhai Dawar of IND won in this seat defeating Jamnasingh Solanki of BJP by a margin of 9,716 which was 5.71% of the total votes cast for the seat. IND had a vote share of 43.36% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Vijay Singh of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Gajengra Singh of BJP by a margin of 1,820 votes which was 1.19% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 44.11% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Jamna Singh Solanki of BJP won this seat beating Kedar Chida Bhai Dawar of INC by a margin of 15,392 votes which was 14.99% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 50.94% in the seat.
