In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Govardhan Dangi of INC won in this seat defeating Narayan Singh Panwar of BJP by a margin of 826 which was 0.47% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 42.86% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Narayan Singh Panwar of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Ram Chandra Dangi of INC by a margin of 3,088 votes which was 1.93% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 47.4% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Purshotam Dangi of INC won this seat beating Badrilal Yadav of BJP by a margin of 13,444 votes which was 11.77% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 45.47% in the seat.
