The geographic coordinates of Dharampuri is: 22°21'28.8"N 75°25'17.4"E. Dharampuri shares its borders with seven other Assembly constituencies in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The other Madhya Pradesh Assembly constituencies adjacent to Dharampuri are: Maheshwar, Kasrawad, Rajpur, Gandhwani, Manawar, Dhar, Dr.Ambedkar Nagar-Mhow. This constituency shares an inter-state border with: no other state.

Election results

In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Panchilal Meda of INC won in this seat defeating Gopal Kannoj of BJP by a margin of 13,972 which was 9.02% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 50.65% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Kalusingh Thakur of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Pachilal Meda of INC by a margin of 7,573 votes which was 5.74% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 49.3% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Panchilal Meda of INC won this seat beating Jagdish Muvel of BJP by a margin of 6,654 votes which was 7.09% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 46.55% in the seat.
