In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Usha Thakur of BJP won in this seat defeating Antar Singh Darbar of INC by a margin of 7,157 which was 3.68% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 49.86% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Kailash Vijayvargiya of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Antersingh Darbar of INC by a margin of 12,216 votes which was 7.05% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 51.85% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Kailash Vijayvargiya of BJP won this seat beating Antar Singh Darbar of INC by a margin of 9,791 votes which was 7.51% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 51.55% in the seat.
