In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Rakesh Pal Singh of BJP won in this seat defeating Rajneesh Harvansh Singh of INC by a margin of 6,679 which was 3.35% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 43.11% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Rajneesh Harbansh Singh of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Dr Dhal Singh Bisen of BJP by a margin of 4,803 votes which was 2.67% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 40.46% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Harvansh Singh of INC won this seat beating Dr Dhal Singh Bisen of BJP by a margin of 5,978 votes which was 4.04% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 38.68% in the seat.
