The geographic coordinates of Khilchipur is: 24°02'54.6"N 76°23'11.4"E. Khilchipur shares its borders with three other Assembly constituencies in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The other Madhya Pradesh Assembly constituencies adjacent to Khilchipur are: Rajgarh, Sarangpur, Susner. This constituency shares an inter-state border with: Jhalawar district of Maharashtra.

Election results

In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Priyavrat Singh of INC won in this seat defeating Hajarilal Dangi of BJP by a margin of 29,756 which was 16.47% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 56.38% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Kunwar Hajarilal Dangi of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Priyavrat Singh of INC by a margin of 11,479 votes which was 7.08% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 51.03% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Priyavrat Singh of INC won this seat beating Jagannath Singh of BJP by a margin of 13,627 votes which was 10% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 40.3% in the seat.
