Mahidpur comprises of the following areas of Ujjain district in the Malwa North region of Madhya Pradesh: Mahidpur Tehsil, 3 Nimbodiya kalan, 8 Khajuria, 9 Jalodiya, 10 Aakyakoli, 11 Antraliya, 12 Borkheda Pitramal, 13 Rupeta, 14 Banbana, 22 Guradiya Pitramal and 23 Rani Pipliya Patwari Circles of Nagda RI Circle of Nagda Tehsil.

This constituency covers an approximate area of 1,218 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Mahidpur is: 23°32'39.8"N 75°40'31.8"E.
