The geographic coordinates of Nagod is: 24°26'00.6"N 80°39'32.4"E. Nagod shares its borders with six other Assembly constituencies in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The other Madhya Pradesh Assembly constituencies adjacent to Nagod are: Pawai, Gunnour, Raigaon, Satna, Maihar, Rampur Baghelan. This constituency shares an inter-state border with: no other state.

Election results

In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Nagendra Singh of BJP won in this seat defeating Yadvendra Singh of INC by a margin of 1,234 which was 0.73% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 32.52% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Yadavendra Singh of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Gaganendra Pratap Singh of BJP by a margin of 10,064 votes which was 6.8% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 37.75% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Nagendra Singh of BJP won this seat beating Yadvendra Singh of INC by a margin of 6,982 votes which was 5.87% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 30.45% in the seat.
