In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Dilip Singh Parihar of BJP won in this seat defeating Satya Narayan of INC by a margin of 14,857 which was 8.85% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 51.93% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Dilip Singh Parihar of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Nandkishor Patel of INC by a margin of 21,667 votes which was 14.57% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 49.3% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Khuman Singh Shivaji of BJP won this seat beating Raghuraj Singh Chaurdiya of INC by a margin of 13,843 votes which was 11.89% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 37.43% in the seat.
