Location

The geographic coordinates of Nepanagar is: 21°25'24.2"N 76°24'22.3"E. Nepanagar shares its borders with four other Assembly constituencies in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The other Madhya Pradesh Assembly constituencies adjacent to Nepanagar are: Harsud, Pandhana, Burhanpur, Bhikangaon. This constituency shares an inter-state border with: Buldhana and Amravati districts of Maharashtra.

Election results

In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Sumitra Devi Kasdekar of INC won in this seat defeating Manju Rajendra Dadu of BJP by a margin of 1,264 which was 0.69% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 46.69% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Rajendra Shyamlal Dadu(Raju Bhaiyya) of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Ramkishan Patel of INC by a margin of 22,178 votes which was 13.18% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 51.82% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Rajendra Shyamlal Dadu (Raju Bhaiya) of BJP won this seat beating Ramkisan Patel of INC by a margin of 1,586 votes which was 1.48% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 43.49% in the seat.
