Location

The geographic coordinates of Paraswada is: 22°03'22.7"N 80°15'43.9"E. Paraswada shares its borders with seven other Assembly constituencies in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The other Madhya Pradesh Assembly constituencies adjacent to Paraswada are: Bichhiya, Mandla, Baihar, Lanji, Balaghat, Waraseoni, Keolari. This constituency shares an inter-state border with: Gondiya district of Maharashtra.

Election results

In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Ram Kishor (Nano) Kawre of BJP won in this seat defeating Kankar Munjare of SP by a margin of 9,608 which was 5.63% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 33.65% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Madhu Bhagat of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Ram Kishor (Nano) Kaware of BJP by a margin of 2,849 votes which was 1.86% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 32.13% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Ramkishor (Nano) Kawre of BJP won this seat beating Kankar Munjare of SHS by a margin of 8,066 votes which was 6.54% of the total votes polled in the constituency. SHS had a vote share of 29.44% in the seat.
