Location

The geographic coordinates of Rajnagar is: 24°51'54.0"N 79°52'58.8"E. Rajnagar shares its borders with five other Assembly constituencies in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The other Madhya Pradesh Assembly constituencies adjacent to Rajnagar are: Maharajpur, Chandla, Chhatarpur, Bijawar, Panna. This constituency shares an inter-state border with: Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh.

Election results

In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Vikram Singh (Nati Raja) of INC won in this seat defeating Arvind Pateriya of BJP by a margin of 732 which was 0.51% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 28.06% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Kun Vikram Singh Urf Nati Raja of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Dr Ramkrishn Kusmariya 'Baba Ji' of BJP by a margin of 8,607 votes which was 6.67% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 42.33% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Kun Vikram Singh Nati Raja of INC won this seat beating Shankar Pratap Singh (Munna Raja) of BSP by a margin of 3,032 votes which was 2.93% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BSP had a vote share of 32.48% in the seat.

This constituency covers an approximate area of 1,547 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Rajnagar is: 24°51'54.0"N 79°52'58.8"E.
