The other Madhya Pradesh Assembly constituencies adjacent to Rewa are: Semariya, Gurh. This constituency shares an inter-state border with: no other state.

Election results

In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Rajendra Shukla of BJP won in this seat defeating Abhay Mishra of INC by a margin of 18,089 which was 13.23% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 51.04% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Rajendra Shukla of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Krishna Kumar Gupta (K K) of BSP by a margin of 37,546 votes which was 31.2% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 51.11% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Rajendra Shukla of BJP won this seat beating Dr Abdul Mujib Khan Advocate of BSP by a margin of 26,110 votes which was 31.5% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BSP had a vote share of 52.05% in the seat.
