Election results

In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Tulsiram Silawat of INC won in this seat defeating Dr Rajesh Sonkar of BJP by a margin of 2,945 which was 1.48% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 48.38% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Rajesh Sonkar of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Tulsiram Silawat of INC by a margin of 17,583 votes which was 10.66% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 52.92% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Tulisiram Silawat of INC won this seat beating Smt Nisha Praksh Sonkar of BJP by a margin of 3,417 votes which was 2.84% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 48.87% in the seat.
