    In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Premshanker Kunjilal Verma (Baghwada) of BJP won in this seat defeating Omprakash Hazarilal Raghuwanshi of INC by a margin of 11,604 which was 6.14% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 46.58% in 2018 in this seat.

    In 2013, Sartaj Singh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Dada Hajari Lal Raghuwanshi of INC by a margin of 12,547 votes which was 7.61% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 47.54% in the seat.

    In the 2008 elections, Sartaj Singh of BJP won this seat beating Dada Hajarilal Raghuwanshi S/O Nanhu Singh Banapura of INC by a margin of 7,845 votes which was 6.48% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 44.7% in the seat.
