In 2013, Shankar Singh Rajpurohit of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Savaram Patel of INC by a margin of 9,152 votes which was 6.7% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 42.35% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Bhag Raj Chowdhary of INC won this seat beating Chiranji Lal of BJP by a margin of 13,751 votes which was 13.05% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 34.42% in the seat.

This constituency covers an approximate area of 2,219 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Ahore is: 25°26'08.9"N 72°47'42.4"E.
