The geographic coordinates of Bassi is: 26°48'23.4"N 76°05'36.6"E. Bassi shares its borders with six other Assembly constituencies in the state of Rajasthan. The other Rajasthan Assembly constituencies adjacent to Bassi are: Adarsh Nagar, Bagru, Chaksu, Lalsot, Dausa, Jamwa Ramgarh. This constituency shares an inter-state/international border with: no other state.

Election results

In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Laxman Meena of IND won in this seat defeating Kanhaiyalal of BJP by a margin of 42,764 which was 25.34% of the total votes cast for the seat. IND had a vote share of 47.33% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Anju Devi Dhanka of IND emerged victorious in this seat beating Avanti Meena of NPEP by a margin of 11,339 votes which was 7.88% of the total votes polled in the constituency. IND had a vote share of 33.42% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Anju Devi Dhanka of IND won this seat beating Kanhaya Lal of IND by a margin of 21,932 votes which was 19.02% of the total votes polled in the constituency. IND had a vote share of 46.91% in the seat.
