In 2013, Yoonus Khan of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Chetan Choudhary of INC by a margin of 11,444 votes which was 7.51% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 45.12% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Rupa Ram of INC won this seat beating Yoonus Khan of BJP by a margin of 16,489 votes which was 13.09% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 48.86% in the seat.

This constituency covers an approximate area of 1,265 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Deedwana is: 27°17'39.5"N 74°33'29.5"E.
