The geographic coordinates of Gogunda is: 24°47'26.9"N 73°25'33.6"E. Gogunda shares its borders with seven other Assembly constituencies in the state of Rajasthan. The other Rajasthan Assembly constituencies adjacent to Gogunda are: Pindwara-Abu, Bali, Kumbhalgarh, Nathdwara, Mavli, Udaipur Rural, Jhadol. This constituency shares an inter-state/international border with: no other state.

Election results

In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Pratap Lal Bheel (Gameti) of BJP won in this seat defeating Dr Mangi Lal Garasiya of INC by a margin of 4,411 which was 2.44% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 45.61% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Pratap Lal Bheel of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Mangi Lal Garasiya of INC by a margin of 3,345 votes which was 2.2% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 45.49% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Mangi Lal Garasiya of INC won this seat beating Husna Ram Garasiya of BJP by a margin of 10,112 votes which was 8.23% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 45.71% in the seat.
