In 2013, Narpat Singh Rajvi of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Vikram Singh Shekhawat of INC by a margin of 37,913 votes which was 19.6% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 55.36% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Narpat Singh Rajvi of BJP won this seat beating Vikram Singh of INC by a margin of 9,040 votes which was 6.54% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 46.5% in the seat.
