Killiyoor Assembly constituency comprises the following areas of Kanniyakumari district in the South region of Tamil Nadu: Vilavancode Taluk (Part) Kulappuram, Methukummal, Kollencode, Ezhudesam, Arudesam, Painkulam, Keezhkulam, Killiyoor, Paloor and Midalam villages. Puthukadai (TP), Kollancode (TP), Ezhudesam (TP), Keezhkulam (TP), Killiyoor (TP), Karungal (TP) and Palapallam (TP).

This constituency covers an approximate area of 128 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Killiyoor is: 8°15'43.6"N 77°10'11.6"E.

According to data released by the Election Commission of India, In 2021, this seat registered a turnout of 65.87%, while it was 60.75% in 2016, and 63.97% in 2011.

In the 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, Rajesh Kumar S of INC won in this constituency beating Jude Dev K V of AIADMK by a margin of 55400 votes which was 32.75% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Rajesh Kumar S of INC was the winner in this seat beating Pon. Vijayaragavan of BJP by a margin of 46295 votes which was 30.2% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, John Jacob.S of INC won this seat defeating Chandra Kumar.T of BJP by a margin of 24486 votes which was 17.93% of the total votes polled for the seat.
