Killiyoor Assembly constituency comprises the following areas of Kanniyakumari district in the South region of Tamil Nadu: Vilavancode Taluk (Part) Kulappuram, Methukummal, Kollencode, Ezhudesam, Arudesam, Painkulam, Keezhkulam, Killiyoor, Paloor and Midalam villages. Puthukadai (TP), Kollancode (TP), Ezhudesam (TP), Keezhkulam (TP), Killiyoor (TP), Karungal (TP) and Palapallam (TP).

This constituency covers an approximate area of 128 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Killiyoor is: 8°15'43.6"N 77°10'11.6"E.

In 2016, Rajesh Kumar S of INC was the winner in this seat beating Pon. Vijayaragavan of BJP by a margin of 46295 votes which was 30.2% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, John Jacob.S of INC won this seat defeating Chandra Kumar.T of BJP by a margin of 24486 votes which was 17.93% of the total votes polled for the seat.
