In the 2018 Telangana Assembly elections, Manchireddy Kishan Reddy of TRS won in this seat defeating Malreddy Ranga Reddy of BSP by a margin of 376 which was 0.19% of the total votes cast for the seat. TRS had a vote share of 36.87% in 2018 in this seat.
