In the 2018 Telangana Assembly elections, Bethi Subhas Reddy of TRS won in this seat defeating Tulla Veerender Goud of TDP by a margin of 48,168 which was 21.14% of the total votes cast for the seat. TRS had a vote share of 51.53% in 2018 in this seat.
