Baduria (M)

This constituency covers an approximate area of 182 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Baduria is: 22°45'35.3"N 88°47'47.8"E.

In the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections, Abdur Rahim Quazi of TMC won in this constituency beating Sukalyan Baidya of BJP by a margin of 56444 votes which was 26.76% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Abdur Rahim Quazi of INC was the winner in this seat beating Amir Ali of TMC by a margin of 22245 votes which was 11.34% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, Abdul Gaffar Quazi of INC won this seat defeating Md. Shelim Gain of CPIM by a margin of 22960 votes which was 13.57% of the total votes polled for the seat.
