Banarhat-I, Barogharia, Gadhearkuthi, Gadong-I, Gadong-II, Jharaltagram-I, Jharaltagram-II, Magurmari-I, Magurmari-II, Sakoyajhora-II, Salbari-I, Salbari-II, Dhupguri-I and Dhupguri-II GPs of CDB Dhupguri

This constituency covers an approximate area of 427 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Dhupguri is: 26°39'21.6"N 88°59'29.4"E.

According to data released by the Election Commission of India, In 2021, this seat registered a turnout of 86.38%, while it was 88% in 2016, and 87.07% in 2011.

In the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections, Bishnu Pada Ray of BJP won in this constituency beating Mitali Roy of TMC by a margin of 4355 votes which was 1.92% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Mitali Roy of TMC was the winner in this seat beating Mamata Roy of CPIM by a margin of 19264 votes which was 9.23% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, Mamata Roy of CPIM won this seat defeating Mina Barman of TMC by a margin of 4238 votes which was 2.43% of the total votes polled for the seat.
