This constituency covers an approximate area of 312 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Khejuri is: 21°54'45.4"N 87°53'43.8"E.

In the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections, Santanu Pramanik of BJP won in this constituency beating Partha Pratim Das of TMC by a margin of 17965 votes which was 8.49% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Ranajit Mondal of TMC was the winner in this seat beating Asim Kumar Mandal of IND by a margin of 42485 votes which was 22.25% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, Ranajit Mondal of TMC won this seat defeating Asim Kumar Mandal of SP by a margin of 16160 votes which was 9.77% of the total votes polled for the seat.
