Siliguri Assembly constituency comprises the following areas of Darjeeling district in the North Bengal region of West Bengal: Ward Nos 1 to 30 and 45 to 47 of Siliguri M Corp.

This constituency covers an approximate area of 11 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Siliguri is: 26°42'40.3"N 88°25'32.9"E.

According to data released by the Election Commission of India, In 2021, this seat registered a turnout of 77.37%, while it was 80.79% in 2016, and 81.34% in 2011.

In the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections, Sankar Ghosh of BJP won in this constituency beating Dr Omprakash Mishra of TMC by a margin of 35586 votes which was 20.15% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Asok Bhattacharya of CPIM was the winner in this seat beating Bhaichung Bhutia of TMC by a margin of 14072 votes which was 8.36% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, Rudra Nath Bhattacharya of TMC won this seat defeating Asok Bhattacharya of CPIM by a margin of 5006 votes which was 3.34% of the total votes polled for the seat.
