Baniban, Basudevpur, Joyargori, Tehatta Kantaberia-I, Tehatta Kantaberia-II and Tulsiberia GPs of CDB Uluberia-II

In the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections, Dr Nirmal Maji of TMC won in this constituency beating Chiran Bera of BJP by a margin of 21003 votes which was 11.38% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Dr. Nirmal Maji of TMC was the winner in this seat beating Amiya Kumar Mondal of INC by a margin of 14182 votes which was 8.6% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, Dr. Nirmal Maji of TMC won this seat defeating Ghuku Bhim of CPIM by a margin of 18448 votes which was 12.65% of the total votes polled for the seat.
