In 2015, Bhola Yadav of RJD was the winner in this seat beating Hari Sahani of BJP by a margin of 16989 votes which was 10.91% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Madan Sahni of JDU won this seat defeating Harinandan Yadav of RJD by a margin of 643 votes which was 0.56% of the total votes polled for the seat.
