In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Raghvendra Pratap Singh of BJP won in this constituency beating Saroj Yadav of RJD by a margin of 4973 votes which was 3.01% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Saroj Yadav of RJD was the winner in this seat beating Aasha Devi of BJP by a margin of 13308 votes which was 9.08% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Raghwendra Pratap Singh of RJD won this seat defeating Asha Devi of JDU by a margin of 1083 votes which was 0.98% of the total votes polled for the seat.
