In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Raj Kumar Singh of LJP won in this constituency beating Narendra Kumar Singh @ Bogo Singh of JDU by a margin of 333 votes which was 0.16% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Narendra Kumar Singh Alias Bogo Singh of JDU was the winner in this seat beating Sarvesh Kumar of BJP by a margin of 22688 votes which was 12.44% of the total votes polled in the constituency.
