Konni Assembly constituency comprises the following areas of Pathanamthitta district in the Travancore region of Kerala: Aruvappulam, Konni, Malayalapuzha, Pramadom, Mylapra, Vallicode and Thannithode Panchayat in Kozhenchery Taluk and Enadimangalam and Kalanjoor Panchayats in Adoor Taluk and Chittar and Seethathodu Panchayats in Ranni Taluk.

This constituency covers an approximate area of 1626 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Konni is: 9°15'27.0"N 77°03'05.0"E.

In the 2021 Kerala Assembly elections, Adv K U Jenish Kumar of CPIM won in this constituency beating Robin Peter of INC by a margin of 8508 votes which was 5.7% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Adoor Prakash of INC was the winner in this seat beating Adv. R. Sanal Kumar of CPIM by a margin of 20748 votes which was 14.48% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, Adv. Adoor Prakash of INC won this seat defeating M. S. Rajendran of CPIM by a margin of 7774 votes which was 5.93% of the total votes polled for the seat.
