Mannarkad Assembly constituency comprises the following areas of Palakkad district in the Cochin region of Kerala: Agali, Alanallur, Kottoppadam, Kumaramputhur, Mannarkkad, Pudur and Sholayur Panchayat in Mannarkkad Taluk.

This constituency covers an approximate area of 1080 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Mannarkad is: 11°04'47.6"N 76°32'31.6"E.

In the 2021 Kerala Assembly elections, Advocate N Samsudheen of IUML won in this constituency beating K P Suresh Raj of CPI by a margin of 5870 votes which was 3.88% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Adv.N.Samsudheen of IUML was the winner in this seat beating K.P. Suresh Raj of CPI by a margin of 12325 votes which was 8.3% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, Advocate N. Samsudheen of MUL won this seat defeating V. Chamunni of CPI by a margin of 8270 votes which was 6.82% of the total votes polled for the seat.
