The geographic coordinates of Ladakh Lok Sabha constituency are: 34°00'19.1"N 77°19'24.6"E. Ladakh shares its borders with five other Lok Sabha constituencies. Other Lok Sabha constituencies adjacent to Ladakh are: Baramulla, Srinagar, Anantnag-Rajouri, Udhampur, Himachal Pradesh: Mandi. This constituency shares an inter-state border with: Himachal Pradesh.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal of BJP won in this seat defeating Sajjad Hussain of IND by a margin of 10,930 votes which was 8.65% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 33.7% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Thupstan Chhewang of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Ghulam Raza of INC by a margin of 36 votes which was 0.03% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 26.36% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Hassan Khan of IND won this seat beating Phuntsog Namgyal of INC by a margin of 3,684 votes which was 3.36% of the total votes polled in the constituency. IND had a vote share of 29.81% in the seat.
