The geographic coordinates of Kaziranga Lok Sabha constituency are: 26°32'19.3"N 92°55'45.1"E. Kaziranga shares its borders with seven other Lok Sabha constituencies. Other Lok Sabha constituencies adjacent to Kaziranga are: Mangaldoi, Tezpur, Nowgong, Autonomous District, Jorhat, Lakhimpur, Nagaland: Nagaland. This constituency shares an inter-state border with: Nagaland.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Gaurav Gogoi of INC won in this seat defeating Moni Madhab Mahanta of AGP by a margin of 2,09,994 votes which was 14.74% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 55.17% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Gourav Gogoi of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Mrinal Kumar Saikia of BJP by a margin of 93,874 votes which was 8.09% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC secured a vote share of 38.19% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Dip Gogoi of INC won this seat beating Gunin Hazarika of AGP by a margin of 1,51,989 votes which was 15.82% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 45.24% in the seat.
