The geographic coordinates of Siwan Lok Sabha constituency are: 26°10'00.1"N 84°30'00.0"E. Siwan shares its borders with four other Lok Sabha constituencies. Other Lok Sabha constituencies adjacent to Siwan are: Gopalganj, Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh: Salempur, Ballia. This constituency shares an inter-state border with: Uttar Pradesh.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Kavita Singh of JDU won in this seat defeating Hena Shahab of RJD by a margin of 1,16,958 votes which was 11.88% of the total votes cast for the seat. JDU had a vote share of 45.54% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Om Prakash Yadav of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Hena Shahab of RJD by a margin of 1,13,847 votes which was 12.88% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 42.16% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Om Prakash Yadav of IND won this seat beating Hena Shahab of RJD by a margin of 63,430 votes which was 9.88% of the total votes polled in the constituency. IND had a vote share of 36.8% in the seat.
