In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Prahalad Singh Patel of BJP won in this seat defeating Pratap Singh of INC by a margin of 3,53,411 votes which was 30.36% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 60.51% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Prahalad Singh Patel of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Choudhary Mahendra Pratap Singh of INC by a margin of 2,13,299 votes which was 23.39% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 56.25% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Shivraj Bhaiya of BJP won this seat beating Chandrabhan Bhaiya of INC by a margin of 70,877 votes which was 11.83% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 50.51% in the seat.
