In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Shri Sha Bra Dr Jai Sidheshwar Shivachary Mahaswamiji of BJP won in this seat defeating Shinde Sushilkumar Sambhajirao of INC by a margin of 1,58,608 votes which was 14.62% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 48.33% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Sharad Bansode of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Shinde Sushilkumar Sambhajirao of INC by a margin of 1,49,674 votes which was 15.74% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 54.44% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Shinde Sushilkumar Sambhajirao of INC won this seat beating Adv Bansode Sharad Maruti of BJP by a margin of 99,632 votes which was 13.4% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 52.14% in the seat.
