2024 General election in West Bengal

The 2024 Lok Sabha election in West Bengal spans 7 phases, starting on April 19 and ending on June 1. The state has 42 seats, with 10 reserved for Scheduled Castes and 2 for Scheduled Tribes. West Bengal has the third-highest number of Lok Sabha seats and an electorate of 7.58 crore. In the 2019 election, the Trinamool Congress (TMC), led by Mamata Banerjee, emerged as the top performer, consolidating 22 seats. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) followed closely behind, securing 18 seats.
