In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Manoj Chawla of INC won in this seat defeating Jitendra Thawarchand Gehlot of BJP by a margin of 5,448 which was 3.33% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 49.42% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Jitendra Thavarchand Gehlot of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Ajit Premchand Guddu of INC by a margin of 7,973 votes which was 5.36% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 49.4% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Manohar Untwal of BJP won this seat beating Premchand Guddu of INC by a margin of 8,567 votes which was 7.16% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 49.14% in the seat.
