In 2013, Mahendra Singh Sisodia (Sanju Bhaiya) of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Kanhaiya Lal Rameswar Agrawal of BJP by a margin of 18,561 votes which was 13.13% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 50.8% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Kanhaiyalal Rameswar Agrawal of BJP won this seat beating Mahendra Singh Sisodia (Sanju Bhaiyo) of INC by a margin of 4,778 votes which was 5.14% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 30.96% in the seat.

This constituency covers an approximate area of 2,492 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Bamori is: 24°51'21.6"N 77°10'41.9"E.
