The geographic coordinates of Bhainsdehi is: 21°41'22.6"N 77°34'48.4"E. Bhainsdehi shares its borders with five other Assembly constituencies in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The other Madhya Pradesh Assembly constituencies adjacent to Bhainsdehi are: Multai, Betul, Ghodadongri, Timarni, Harsud. This constituency shares an inter-state border with: Amravati district of Maharashtra.

Election results

In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Dharmu Singh Sirsam of INC won in this seat defeating Mahendra Singh Chouhan of BJP by a margin of 30,880 which was 15.38% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 52.1% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Mahendra Kesharsingh Chouhan of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Dharmusingh Sirsam of INC by a margin of 13,276 votes which was 8.23% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 48.28% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Dharmu Sing Sirsam of INC won this seat beating Chouhan Mahendra Sing of BJP by a margin of 6,384 votes which was 5.87% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 44.28% in the seat.
