    In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Lakshman Singh of INC won in this seat defeating Mamta Meena of BJP by a margin of 9,797 which was 5.96% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 49.79% in 2018 in this seat.

    In 2013, Mamta Meena of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Shivnarayan Meena of INC by a margin of 34,901 votes which was 24.07% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 57.1% in the seat.

    In the 2008 elections, Shivnarayan Meena of INC won this seat beating Mamta Meena of BJP by a margin of 8,022 votes which was 8% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 33.96% in the seat.
