The geographic coordinates of Deori is: 23°22'58.8"N 78°55'12.0"E. Deori shares its borders with seven other Assembly constituencies in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The other Madhya Pradesh Assembly constituencies adjacent to Deori are: Surkhi, Rehli, Jabera, Narsingpur, Tendukheda, Udaipura, Silwani. This constituency shares an inter-state border with: no other state.

Election results

In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Harsh Yadav of INC won in this seat defeating Teji Singh Rajpoot of BJP by a margin of 4,304 which was 2.92% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 47.49% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Harsh Yadav of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Ratansingh Silarpur of BJP by a margin of 22,080 votes which was 16.13% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 52% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Dr Bhanu Rana of BJP won this seat beating Brijbihari Pateriya of INC by a margin of 11,505 votes which was 10.8% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 38.31% in the seat.
